SUZY DAVIES is the Welsh Conservative Parliamentary candidate for Brecon & Radnorshire. Suzy gave up her job as a solicitor in 2007 to fight the Assembly elections and now concentrates on voluntary work within the constituency.

Suzy said: "By voting against a Rainbow Coalition government in the Assembly and therefore allowing Labour back into power, local Liberal Democrats, supported by Roger Williams MP, have shown that they do not have the stomach for grown up government, nor the strength of character to put the needs of their constituents before their own.

"The next General Election will be a straight fight between Labour and Conservative and after years of having no voice in government, people here want to be part of the process and not just whispering from the sidelines. Looking busy and offering supportive words is just not good enough and I feel that the people of Brecon & Radnorshire are realising that with no chance of leading the next government, the Lib Dems have no power or authority to help resolve any of the problems we face today".
